London Fashion Week AW14 - Part Two

More of my images from London Fashion Week. Patchwork faux fur popped up all over the place during the week so it's no surprise that Topshop Unique had their fair share on offer. There's definitely something about the deliciously warm colours of the fluffy coat below that makes my heart skip a beat.

More faux fur could also be seen at Roksanda Ilincic as well as vivid primary colours and incredibly tactile-looking clutches.

London Fashion Week AW14 - Part One

Now that London Fashion Week is over I finally have time to put up some of my images. As always, I spent a wonderfully eventful and consistently surprising week working alongside Daniel for the British Fashion Council. I'm slowly starting to feel more confident with photography and spent a lot of time experimenting with different angles and taking close ups of some of the beautiful details and textures. Perhaps because of studying printed textiles for my degree, I find that that is what I'm always drawn to. The quirky, colourful, off-beat prints by House of Holland and Holly Fulton were a feast for the eyes!

By contrast, I also absolutely loved the dramatic organza flowers and block silhouettes in black and red by John Rocha. I also adored Christopher Raeburn's snugly polar bear-esque furry jumpers, wishing I had one to keep warm about now!

I'm off to Paris today for a couple of the Paris Fashion Week shows and to celebrate my birthday so expect more fashion images soon! I keep meaning to produce some illustrations based on the shows but right now I'm just enjoying playing with photography and finding different way to capture the looks. I'm sure I'll find my way back to fashion illustration when the time is right.
